If you’re looking for an inexpensive replacement for the stock rockers, there are several to choose from. On the left is Crane’s die-formed, “sled-type,” steel roller-tip, stock replacement roller rocker. On the right is Comp’s investment-cast “Magnum” rocker, which requires conversion to studs. Neither rocker uses a roller fulcrum, however, and that’s where most of the friction and heat are generated.
