Fox Mustang Drag Car Engine
Automotive Engine Specialties in Elk Grove, Illinois, handles all of Raphael's engine machining and building duties. Last year the car featured a 302-based 349ci engine, but for 2008, a 400ci engine is in the car to go after the top NMRA Super Street Outlaw racers. That's a Turbonetics NMRA-legal, ball-bearing, 94mm, single-turbo out front of the 400, with custom tubing made by Raphael's side business called Profile Racecraft, which also made the exhaust manifolds.
